You asked me to write a letter about how your addiction affected me. At the time, things were a bit hazy and I was young and didn’t know what to think of everything. It really flared my insecurities up.
Answer to sex addiction
Finding true freedom from sex addiction does not come from working programs, reading books, attending groups, counseling or Bible knowledge. These are valid and important tools God uses as a part of the healing process, but in of themselves they don’t set the struggler with sex addiction free.
Hey it’s just a little porn… I’m no sex addict
A little while ago I called an old friend to say hello, and the conversation turned to my involvement in helping the sexually broken. After I shared of my 20 year struggle with sex addiction, my friend said “well, I’m no sex addict, I’m just a casual porn user!”
The nature of sex addiction
There is only one way out that I am aware of: Finding God, as you come to understand God. Seek Him and He will be found. Blessings and love to you all.
